The logo can look like “TEMPERED” or refer to the standard like “TEMPERED EN12150-1”, or can consist of logo and name of glass manufacturer.

Tempered or heat-treated glass is made from ordinary glass, heated in special furnaces to a temperature of more than 600 degrees and rapidly cooled to 40 degrees. This process makes glass 5-7 times stronger than standard glass. In the event that tempered glass breaks, it shatters into small, non-sharp pieces that do not harm either humans or animals.
Laminated glass consists of several layers of ordinary glass which are impregnated with a polymeric transparent film, which, after hardening, forms a strong and transparent binder between the layers of glass. Laminated glass is 5 times stronger than ordinary glass. If such glass is accidentally broken, the fragments will remain glued to the film.
A triplex glass is made by laminating several tempered glasses with PVB polymer films under pressure and heating. PVB films have a thickness of 0.38 mm and different numbers of layers (0.38-0.76-1.14-1.52 mm) can be used to achieve the required thickness. According to EN 12600, a minimum of two layers of PVB film (0.76 mm) must be used. Triplex glass is 5-10 times stronger than ordinary glass. If the triplex glass is damaged, it will break into small non-sharp pieces and they will remain on the polymer film in the form of a "spider web". It will not harm either man or animal.
